If you spot a broken download link or a version number that no longer matches the latest release, I would appreciate a quick note. Please use the address [email protected] and mention the program page where you found it. I check every report against the developer’s own site and correct the catalog when needed.

What I cannot help with

I catalog software, but I do not make or sell it. I cannot assist with licence keys, cracks, account recovery, refunds, or technical support for a particular app. Those questions belong with the developer. Mail that asks for these things will not receive a reply.

Writing a message that gets an answer

I read every message myself. To give you a clear answer without a back-and-forth, please include a few specifics:

• the exact app name as it appears on Aspecten
• the version number currently listed on the page
• your macOS version
• whether your Mac runs Apple silicon or Intel
• a short description of what you expected and what you saw instead

Messages that arrive with this information are much easier to act on.

Response time

I answer as soon as I can, usually within a few days. I run the site alone, alongside my research work, so I cannot promise a fixed number of hours. If a week passes without a reply, a gentle nudge is welcome—mail sometimes gets lost.

Suggesting a program

The catalog is hand-picked, but I am always glad to study something new. If you would like to suggest a Mac program, game or plugin, write to the same address. Include the developer’s site, a note on what the software does and which aspect of it you find well-made. I try every suggestion before I decide whether it fits the catalog.
